Waiving of Late Fees

Parents,

We don't want the Government shutdown to keep anyone from participating in Fairfax Little League. To help ease any concern, if you are affected by the shutdown you can register your child and pay after the shutdown is resolved. We have temporarily turned off the late fee for anyone that registers before the regular registration deadline on February 22nd. We look forward to a fun and exciting Spring Little League season.

Thank you,

Fairfax Little League

Umpire Registration Now Open

Fairfax Little League is looking for adult and youth umpires for the upcoming baseball season.  Registration is now open on the website for all umpires.

Adult Volunteer Umpires - Adult volunteer umpires are a critical resource for the league.  Umpiring youth games is a great way to volunteer your time to help develop our players.  If your son/daughter is planning to umpire, becoming an adult umpire is also a great way to work with them on the field.  If you are an adult interested in volunteering some time to be an umpire, please register on the website and/or send me an email ( ).

Youth Umpires - Umpires should be 13 or older at the start of the spring season.  Youth umpires are paid for the games they officiate.  This is a great opportunity to earn some money.  Please register on the website.

Important Message for New Umpires

New umpires must attend “New Umpire Rules Training”.  If you were new for the Fall 2018 season and attended the fall rules training, you still must attend this training.  There will be a rules exam on the final evening that you must pass in order to be eligible to umpire in the spring.

The training will be held at Canterbury Woods Elementary School starting at 6:30PM on the following dates:

Tuesday February 5
Thursday February 7
Monday February 11
Wednesday February 13
Tuesday February 19
Wednesday February 20

If you have any questions, please email Mike Carchia ( ).
